The purpose of the Engineers Group is:
- To share ideas and practical experience in maintenance and other engineering matters relating to light rail systems
- To co-operate with and provide advice to the UKTram board in such matters
- Input to UKTram’s Working Groups and Best Practice Days
- To undertake other tasks at the request of the UKTram Board in furtherance of its objectives
- Liaising with Manufacturers and suppliers on topics will be facilitated through this group
