The purpose of the Operators Group is:
- To provide a forum for Operators of light rail to meet and share information
- To provide a continuing knowledge base for the operation of light rail
- To provide the operators a direct input into UKTram governance and shape of the industry
- To provide support and advice to other operators, including acting as a point of contact for new members and potential scheme operators
- To provide opportunities for members to raise issues of concern and relevance with other members and identify industry wide concerns
- Feed into the UKTram workstreams and business; and receive report backs from UKTram Board, Executive and other functional groups
