With tickets selling fast for a high-profile event for light rail professionals, the Edinburgh Grosvenor Hotel has released additional rooms for delegates at discounted rates.

Anyone attending the Light Rail Summit, organised by UKTram and the LRSSB can take advantage of the offer at the event venue.

Jamie Swift, UKTram Marketing and Commercial Manager, explained: “Due to high demand, the hotel has made a few more rooms available at reduced prices.

“However, there are only a few left and anyone planning to stay at The Grosvenor for the summit on 23rd September is advised to book now as there may all be gone ahead of the new booking deadline on 31st August.”

Thanks to the rates negotiated by UKTram, a night at the hotel costs £60, including breakfast, for a single room and £72 for a double.

Tickets for the summit itself are priced at just £99+VAT for UKTram and LRSSSB members, and £199+VAT for non-members, and are available from the new UKTram ‘Shop’ at https://uktramshop.org.
