Steve Duckering is our Operations Manager, who brings over 30 years of experience in public transport.

Steve's career encompasses a variety of operational roles, including driver training, recruitment, and operational management.

With all of this, Steve enriches our team with his extensive knowledge and leadership.

Steve emphasises the importance of sharing knowledge and successful outcomes, "When I get a positive outcome, I make it a point to share it. It’s about evolving our approach with each new challenge."

An active participant and occasional chair of the Light Rail Operators Committee (LROC), Steve advocates strongly for industry collaboration, stating, "The most crucial aspect of good ideas and lessons learned is sharing them. Without collaboration, there is no progress."

Steve advises those just beginning their journey in light rail, to remember, ''we’re not just moving passengers; we’re serving customers.''
