1. UKTram Limited (“UKTram”) is a company limited by guarantee

Its members include the following organisations:

• Confederation of Passenger Transport UK

• Light Rail Transit Forum

• London Bus Services Limited

• Passenger Transport Executive Group Limited
   

It was established to enable key public and private sector stakeholders in the UK tramway industry to present a unified front when dealing with government and statutory bodies and develop a coordinated and structured approach to regulation, procurement, and standardisation within the industry.

2. Use of the UKTram Website is governed by these Terms and Conditions

Your use of this Website constitutes acceptance of these Terms and Conditions. If you do not fully accept these Terms and Conditions, you must leave the website immediately.
 
3. UKTram may at any time revise these Terms and Conditions

You are responsible for regularly reviewing the Terms and Conditions in case they change. Your continued use of the UKTram Website after a change is treated as your acceptance of that change.
 
4. Disclaimer.
Whilst UK Tram tries hard to ensure that the website functions correctly and is normally available 24 hours a day, UKTram is not responsible if, for any reason, the website is unavailable at any time or for any period.

Access to the Website may be temporarily suspended and without notice in the case of failure, maintenance or repair or for any reason beyond UK Tram’s control.

UK Tram endeavours to ensure that the information on the Website is as accurate as possible, although this may not always be achievable, and the following disclaimer applies:

UK Tram cannot guarantee that the material on the Website will always be accurate, complete or current or that access to the Website will be uninterrupted.

Nothing in these Terms and Conditions shall exclude or limit UKTram’s liability for:

c) misrepresentation as to a fundamental matter; or

UKTram does not control and is not responsible for these websites. UKTram will not accept any liability for the contents or reliability of the third-party websites, and UKTram does not endorse the views expressed within them or the organisations or persons providing them in any way. UKTram does not guarantee the operability of these links and has no control over the availability of the linked pages.

If you, as a website provider, wish to link your website to the UKTram Website, you may do so on the basis that:
a) such links do not open UKTram pages into frames within a third-party website;
b) pages from the UKTram Website must be loaded into the user’s entire browser window;
c) you do not in any way imply that UKTram is endorsing any products or services other than its own;

Centro expressly reserves the right to revoke the right granted in paragraph 5 (b) for breach of these Terms and Conditions and to take any appropriate action.

You shall fully indemnify UKTram for any loss or damage suffered by UKTram or any associated companies or organisations for a breach of paragraph 5 (b).

6. Intellectual Property Rights

UKTram-owned material on the Website, including text and images, may not be printed, copied, reproduced, republished, downloaded, posted, displayed, modified, reused, broadcast or transmitted in any way except for the user’s non-commercial use.

7. General
These Terms and Conditions will be governed and construed by the laws of England and Wales. The courts of England and Wales shall have exclusive jurisdiction over disputes between a user and UKTram arising out of the access or use of these websites.

 

Omission by UKTram to exercise any right under these Terms and Conditions will not constitute a waiver of such right unless expressly stated by UKTram in writing.

These Terms and Conditions, together with UKTram’s Privacy Policy and Cookies Policy, constitute the entire Agreement between UKTram and you.
