Seaton Tramway has a fantastic season ahead!

Seaton Tramway is offering great family days out in Devon when it opens again at February half term. Join us for a ride through two beautiful nature reserves on our ‘Bird Hide on Wheels’. Or, if you’ve never driven a tram, well, now’s your chance! Why not try your hand at a ‘Driver’s Eye Experience’ or one of our ‘Tram Driving Lesson’ packages starting from as little as £50 per person.

Easter welcomes the return of ‘The Fairy Special’. Embark on a spellbinding trip as a the Fairy Godmother takes you on a magical journey to the ‘Fairy Kingdom’. Families and children are sure to enjoy this enchanted tram ride filled with music and stories of faraway lands! This enchanted tram departs 6th & 13th April, 6th & 31st May, 1st June, 9th June, 25th June & every Friday in August.

Feeling adventurous? Professor Percival returns to the Tramway with ‘The Dinosaur Tram Adventure’ entertaining for families and children, enjoy this adventure-filled tram ride and show with music, stories, fossil dig and dinosaur activity area at Colyton Station! Help Paleontologist, Professor Percival uncover some secrets and fulfill a mission to make contact with some forgotten species. Departing 8th & 14th April, 7th, 27th, 28th May, 29th July and every Sunday in August plus Bank Holiday Monday.

Brand New this year, sees the arrival of the exciting and thrilling, ‘Bright Sparks Science Show!’ Come along to see for the chance to create your own experiments and see the magic of science unfold before your eyes! Dr Watt’s Laboratory arrives at Seaton Tramway on 4th April, 5th May, 2nd June, 1st, 8th, 15th, 22nd & 29th August.

Setting sail this year is the ‘Pirate Tram’, where ye olde “Seaton Pearl” voyages along the Axe Estuary. Join Captain Nick in search of some “booty” at Colyton Station! Shiver me timbers and all aboard for a swashbuckling time, arrrghh! Departing 5th April, 30th May, 31st July, 18th, 21st & 28th August.

Seaton Tramway have organized a stellar line up of evening events this year, including ‘The Last of The Summer Wine’, ‘Allo Allo’, ‘Dad’s Army’ and the return of ‘Fawlty Towers’. Spend time at their new ‘Ballroom’ and enjoy a lovely Devon cream tea, whilst having the chance to show your Tango or Rhumba on the dance floor. During the autumn half term from Monday 20th October until Sunday 28th October, our Halloween ‘Tram of Terror’ will run from 11am – 3pm each day from Seaton to Colyton and back with lots of thrills and spills along the way! The haunted Victorian station in Colyton includes horrible Halloween games and ‘revolting’ refreshments in the Garden Room and ‘Baddie Bags’ for the children.

Our internationally award winning, The Polar Express™, is once again coming to Seaton Tramway on the 30th November and selected dates between 1 – 24th December! Families will enjoy the magical tram ride to Santa’s home at the North Pole in one of the specially decorated single deck tramcars. Listen to and sing along with all the songs, be served hot chocolate and cookies by the dancing chefs and meet Santa and happy bunch of elves. Each child will receive a special gift from Santa and you’re welcome to wear your pyjamas on board just like the movie! This event is very popular, so please book early to avoid disappointment.

And don’t forget, on most Fridays we offer a buy one standard ticket and get one half price when booked online, as well as offering £1.00 off per Explorer fare ticket when you book online at least 24 hours in advance!

All tickets can be purchased at the Seaton Station and Colyton Station ticket offices, as well as the Annual Loyalty Card which grants one third discount on travel and 10% off on our special days, in our shop or café.
