Light rail professionals are being urged to book now or miss out on a place at a high-profile event featuring presentations by key figures from across the sector.
The Light Rail Summit, organised by UKTram, also promises a day of topical debate on a range of issues, including light rail safety, artificial intelligence, and women in transport.
A full agenda for the event at the Institute of Engineering and Technology’s impressive conference facilities in central Birmingham, IET: Austin Court, on September 21 has now been published and is available to download here.
Lorraine George, UKTram Business Manager, commented: “Places are strictly limited for the summit, which has become one of the highlights of the light rail calendar, attracting senior figures from across the sector.
“This year it looks to be more popular than ever, and anyone thinking of taking part should book now or risk missing out on what also promises to be an excellent opportunity for high-level networking.”
Members of the Department for Transport’s employment skills taskforce will be among the keynote speakers at the event, as will representatives from West Midlands Metro, West Midlands Combined Authority, the Light Rail Safety and Standards Board, and the UKTram Centre of Excellence.
