Guests from around the world will gather in London to celebrate another year of achievement at the 2022 Global Light Rail Awards – held at the Honourable Artillery Company on Wednesday, October 5.
Now in their 16th year, the sector’s ‘Oscars’ recognise innovation and excellence from across the light and urban rail sector in categories which showcase ground-breaking projects and products, as well as outstanding individual and team contributions by those on the front line on projects from around the world.
A recognised mark of excellence for authorities, operators and suppliers, the Global Light Rail Awards offer organisations the chance to be honoured amongst their peers across 16 categories which celebrate the passion and dedication which makes our sector so special.
The event, organised by Mainspring and supported by industry publication Tramways & Urban Transit and organisations from across the sector, will once again be hosted by respected broadcaster and journalist Nicholas Owen.
The headline supporter for 2022 is London Trams operator Tram Operations Limited, with category sponsors from many disciplines across the sector, including UKTram, Keolis, MPact-Thales, ColTram and the Light Rail Transit Association/TramForward.
Submissions for this year’s judging panel are welcomed until 31 August.
