Blackpool Transport Seeks Tramway Operations and Safety Manager

Blackpool Transport is seeking a Tramway Operations and Safety Manager. In this role, the successful candidate will be responsible for managing the day-to-day operations of the tramway, ensuring a safe and reliable service for Blackpool Transport.

Roles and responsibilities:

  • To be a key member of the Blackpool Transport Leadership Team and provide strategic input into business planning and deliver all objectives set for the Tramway.

  • Manage the LRT and Heritage operations to ensure safety and compliance with all company and legislative systems and procedures on the Tramway and related functions.

  • Oversee the Engineering Team with responsibility for maintenance of the tram fleet and tram depot buildings and equipment, overhead lines, including warranty-related issues.

  • Manage all tramway issues, liaising with the infrastructure provider, suppliers and related contractors as required.

What Blackpool Transport offer:

  • An annual salary of £65,000-£75,000 depending on experience.
